{ Happy Weekend! }

Every Monday  I treat myself to a croissant with my coffee to make the start of the week a little happier, but I skipped that little tradition this week due to a croissant outage at Starbucks. I think I'll make up for it today ;). Someday, I will enjoy this little tradition with a croissant in Paris. Just saying it brings a smile to my face. 

I don't currently have any grand plans for the weekend, other than to hang out with my boy, run some errands, and work, but I'm definitely looking forward to it nevertheless. Hopefully the weather will stay warm and lovely.

{ Words for your week }

Hey everyone. Just wanted to share some words of wisdom as you begin a brand new week. I, for one, am hoping to find some focus today and get some big things accomplished. While completing my to do list doesn't sound all that exciting at the moment, I know it will feel nice when everything is finished. I think I'll send myself to a coffee shop today until I finish everything that must be done. 

In other news, I am looking for internships for the summer! I'm so very excited and hopeful for the journey. Ideally, I'll be spending my summer time in the lovely city of Chicago. I'll keep you posted as I begin to sift through internship opportunities and cross my fingers as I wait for responses.

I'm off to get some coffee and a crossaint (delish) and begin to tackle my to do list before I head to a meeting at work. I hope you all have a wonderful day and start this week off right <3

I would just squeel with delight if I was on a plane en route to any of the above locations. I'm in a jetsettin' kind of mood. Maybe it's because Treasure and I are hoping to take a little trip to Louisville, KY for the night tomorrow, but we aren't quite sure if the weather will be on our side. I'll keep ya posted, but either way, my heart and mind belongs to a plane right now.

In reality, I'm also having a pretty lovely morning of a yummy breakfast, good coffee (I tried that Starbucks Instant Coffee for the first time this morning, and it's surprisingly delish!), Trevor is snoozing  for a bit longer while I get my daily fill of Live with Regis and Kelly and prepare for a day of class, loooots of work, and loooots of homework. Let's hope it's a productive day :).

{ Comfy cozy }

I woke up today reaching for anything comfy and cozy that I could curl up in. I think my brain is going too many directions lately because I just can't seem to get rested and energized this week. I believe it's getting to be the time to break out the Vitamin D and amp up my workouts again to try to perk myself up. Also, I woke up this morning and realized I was out of coffee. Isn't that a horrible way to wake up? I know I can stop and pick up a coffee on the way to class, but I'm the kind of gal who needs caffeine as soon as my toesies hit the flosies.

 

I have to go get ready for class, but we all know if I had it my way I would be getting dressed in an oversized cable knit sweater, grabbing a pumpkin spice latte and heading to browse a flea market :). Sigh. What I would give.

{ Today I'm happy }

Yesterday was a terrible, no good, very bad day in my book. It was just one of those days that everything went utterly haywire. But I'm keeping my spirits up for the day. Especially because I've got these things making me happy:

1. Memories of a great weekend spent with Treasure 2. Crunchy leaves under my boots 3. Coffee and a vanilla almond biscotti 4. Fresh Tulips from Whole Foods 

I hope you guys had a better start to your week than I did, but if you didn't, there are still 4 more days in the work week to make up for it :).

{ Monday Morning }

Morning, darlings.

How's everyone doing? I, for one, am not ready for another crazy week. There is much to be done but my cozy couch and DVR full of Friends reruns calls to me. Sadly, I have to ignore them. 

On the upside, I'm starting this day of with some Hazelenut coffee and a healthy breakfast. Then, it's off to work I go. I hope you all have a wonderful day, I'll see you back here later!

{ Early Morning }

Morning dears, I'm starting my day off extra early and heading to the library before work and class to get a few things done. I would love to cuddle up back in bed and sleep for a couple more hours, but homework doesn't wait for anyone, now does it?

{Monday Morning}

this bike with a basket has me dreaming about starting my morning off with a bike ride to pick up coffee and a paper and some fresh flowers from a corner market. ooo how lovely that would be.

Sadly, I overslept a bit this morning and now I'm in a frenzy to get ready for work,

but I just wanted to pop in and wish you all a happy Monday. I snapped a few pictures of the apartment over the weekend but some of them still didn't turn out well, so I'm hoping to get a few others first before I post them. I'm thinking investing in a tripod would give me much better pictures. I'll have to look into that. Does anyone else have one? 

I'm so not ready to leave my bed and greet the day just yet, but it's calling my name. I'll be back later today with another update so check back! Have a great morning everyone <3
